Programs listed below are specifically designed to support the New York State summer reading theme. You may also book these programs for other times throughout the year.

Programs designed for children ages: 3-5 yrs. and their care givers:
Sea Jelly Mobile: Adults and children will delight in listening to stories about gentle sea creatures before creating this lovely sea jelly that can be suspended from a ceiling.
Dump Truck: Adults and children will enjoy listening to truck themed stories before using mixed materials to create a picture of a dump truck that appears to be losing its cargo.
Programs designed for children in grades Kindergarten and up:

Mosaic Butterfly - Children will love learning about symmetrical design and mosaics as they use a colorful collection of mosaic pieces to design their own lovely butterfly on canvas.

Fairy Forest: Mixed media. Children will delight in creating a miniature forest complete with pretend fairies and or other imaginative creatures. The sky is the limit when you let kids imaginations soar!
Aboriginal Animal Mosaic - Mixed media. Children will enjoy learning about the extraordinary designs of Aboriginal artists before using "mosaic soup" pieces to create a pattern filled mosaic animal design of their own. Perfect for children in grades first and up.
Mosaic Initial on Canvas - Mixed media. Children will enjoy using "mosaic soup" pieces to create a large letter shaped mosaic design of their own. Perfect for children in grades Kindergarten and up.
Programs designed for teens: 5th grade and up:
Beneath the Button Tree: Mixed Media. Teens will enjoy working with acrylic paint, glue, buttons, gems and beads as they create a relief painting of a colorful button tree on canvas. This is a perfect program for tweens and teens.
"Pop Message Messenger Bag" - Mixed media. Teens will create the look of three-dimensional letters for a bold statement making message on the outer flap of a canvas messenger bag.
Underground leather Wristlet & Wallet - Mixed Media. Tweens and teens will enjoy using subway map images to cover a leather wristlet and wallet combo.
Mosiac Mirror: Teens will enjoy creating a beautiful mirror design as they cover a cork base using a mixture of mosaic pieces. Colorful glitter gives the finished mirror design a beautiful look. The finished piece includes a hanging bracket on the back, suitable for hanging on a wall.
Mosiac Peace Symbol: Tweens &Teens will enjoy creating a mosaic peace symbol on cork using a mixture of mosaic pieces on top of a cork base. Colorful glitter gives the finished design a beautiful look. The finished piece includes a hanging bracket on the back, suitable for hanging on a wall.

Galaxy themed Leather Wristlet & Wallet: Tweens &Teens will enjoy covering a leather wristlet and flexible wallet using galaxy printed images and applying the technique of decoupage.
Sweet Dreams Ice Cream Sculpture: Mixed media. I dare any teen to not want to make one of these fun sculptures. Air dry clay is mixed into a variety of colorful ice cream "scoops", layered with tinted glue and presented in a pretty dessert cup. Great fun for all and no calories!
